This year at LCAW 2026 we are proud to provide an LCAW Education Hub in partnership with the Centre for Climate Change and Sustainability Education, at University College London’s renowned Institute of Education. The Educational Hub is a physical space, offered free of charge to qualifying organisations, at the Bloomsbury and east London campuses of UC on 24th, 27th and 28th June respectively. (More details in the application form below.)

The LCAW Education Hub is a new physical space being organised for members of the Education Community by LCAW’s longstanding Education & Skills Group. (More below)

During LCAW, the Education Hub will host a wide range of activities, including workshops, panel discussions, networking sessions, and leadership dialogues. The Education Hub will serve as a platform for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and innovation.

To apply to organise an event at the Education Hub on the three days it will be available during LCAW, kindly fill in the form here.

About the LCAW Education & Skills Group

The Education & Skills group has been a core part of LCAW since the event’s founding in 2019, reflecting the belief that schools are not only places of learning but also powerful agents of societal change and climate resilience. Its guiding philosophy is captured in the motto: “Think like a system, act like a sector,” a call for London’s more than 3,600 schools to move beyond isolated initiatives and work together as a coordinated force for climate action.

Work across the Hub is organised around five pillars: Campus, Curriculum, Community, Careers, and Finance, each addressing a different dimension of how educational institutions can embed sustainability and advance climate action. These pillars were formally introduced at the inaugural LCAW Schools Climate Summit in 2021 and have since provided a framework for schools seeking to integrate climate considerations into governance, teaching, operations, and student engagement.
